Singapore-based container shipping company Ocean Network Express (ONE) recently announced the naming ceremony of its latest newbuild, ONE SYMPHONY in Japan.

In a social media post, the ONE said the vessel is one of 20 ammonia- and methanol-ready newbuilds joining its fleet.

The company’s CEO, Till Ole Barrelet, and Senior Advisor, Jeremy Nixon, joined guests and partners from Yusen Logistics, Imabari Shipbuilding and Nihon Shipyard to mark the occasion on 22 October.

“Her name reflects our core value of Teamwork. In a symphony, every section of the orchestra plays its part in a single performance. In the same way, we work hand in hand with our partners, combining our strengths and expertise to deliver exceptional services to our customers,” the company said.
