Wind turbine installation campaign at the Inch Cape project site offshore Scotland has started, with Cadeler's new vessel Wind Mover deployed for the work.

According to a Notice to Mariners from the project, issued on 27 October, the wind turbine installation vessel (WTIV) will first enter the Inch Cape site and jack up in a safe haven position before going to the Port of Dundee for component load-out. Wind Mover arrived at the Inch Cape site on 30 October, according to the vessel's AIS data available online.

Acta Marine's service operations vessel (SOV) Acta Hercules will be deployed for wind turbine commissioning activities, which will be supported by crew transfer vessels (CTVs) NOS Exceller and NOS Empowerer.

Wind turbine installation and commissioning work at Inch Cape will continue until September 2027.
