Fabrizio Pierdomenico is the new coordinator of the Integrated Logistics Chamber (CLI) of the Brazilian Foreign Trade Association (AEB). According to the entity, the decision has immediate effect and aims to strengthen the technical debate on national infrastructure and the facilitation of exports and imports.
The economist is president of Agência Porto and has extensive experience in the port sector, having served as secretary of Port Planning and Development of the Special Secretariat for Ports, between 2008 and 2011, and as national secretary of Ports and Waterway Transport, in 2023.

According to AEB, the Integrated Logistics Chamber aims to formulate and debate solutions for the country’s logistical bottlenecks, an issue considered a priority for advancing the competitiveness of Brazilian foreign trade.
“Our idea is to make AEB’s presence on the Port Authority Councils (CAPs) and on the Port Authority Boards of Administration increasingly stronger. We are going to create a database on each of the ports in which AEB has representatives in the CAP, in short, to do coordinated work in the port sector due to this important presence that we have in the CAPs. And to provoke debate on all modes of transport (road, rail, waterway)”, he stated Pierdomenico.
The coordinator presents the new management’s work plan today at an event for members and guests, which takes place in person at the AEB headquarters, in the center of Rio de Janeiro.
