
Spanish project logistics specialist Laso Lasarte Wind (LLW) has completed the delivery of the final wind turbine for a project in Morocco, concluding a transport campaign involving 121 turbines.
The operation covered the transport of all major win farm components, including blades, tower sections and nacelles, to the Aftissat facility in the southern Boujdour province.
LLW said the project had been divided into four phases, with this final operation seeing the deployment of 25 specialised vehicles capable of transporting 90 metre-long blades.
“With the efficient completion of this wind farm project, Laso Lasarte Wind have handled a total 500+ wind turbines in Morocco, from north to south, reinforcing their undisputed leadership in comprehensive logistics services for wind energy in the country,” said LLW.
