The Baixada Santista port sector already has an important meeting scheduled for next month. On the day August 14, 2026the 3rd Port Workers Congressan event that will bring together workers, authorities, businesspeople, experts and union representatives to discuss the main challenges, opportunities and perspectives of the segment.
The opening ceremony will take place at 8h30no Guarany Theaterlocated at Praça dos Andradas, nº 100, in the Historic Center of Santos. Participation is freeupon prior registration.

The initiative is promoted by the program Porto Chat 013in partnership with the Dockworkers Union of Santos, São Vicente, Guarujá and Cubatão and other entities representing port workers.
According to the organizers, the congress’ mission is to strengthen dialogue between the various links in the logistics and port chain, promoting debates on development, valorization of labor, innovation, infrastructure, professional qualifications, security and the challenges faced by the sector.
The event aims to bring together representatives of the port community, union leaders, public managers, businesspeople and experts, creating an environment aimed at exchanging experiences and building proposals to strengthen the Port of Santos and the national port system.
