Port of Santos receives announcement of new Federal Police headquarters and institutional reinforcement

This week’s Integração 5.0 program followed the press conference that detailed the agreements for the construction of the new Federal Police headquarters in the Ponta da Praia neighborhood, in Santos. The initiative is part of a set of actions aimed at strengthening institutional security in one of the most strategic areas in the country.

During the official agenda, the minister Silvio Costa Filho been in Port of Santoswhere he presented structuring projects and highlighted the importance of integration between logistics infrastructure and public safety.

The new headquarters of the Federal Police aims to modernize operations, expand operational capacity and ensure greater efficiency in combating crimes such as international trafficking and smuggling, especially in a region with an intense flow of cargo and passengers.

The initiative also reinforces the strategic role of the Port of Santos on the national scene, not only as the country’s main logistics corridor, but also as a sensitive point for the actions of control and inspection bodies.
