The two contracts cover subsea production systems at the Balder field and gas export infrastructure at the Goliat field.

For Goliat, OneSubsea’s scope covers the design and delivery of gas export capabilities for the Goliat FPSO, supporting the Goliat gas export project, described as a key step in strengthening the Barents Sea’s contribution to European gas supply through connection to the Snøhvit system and Melkøya LNG.

The second contract, under the Balder Next New Wells project, comprises four well systems on single-can satellite configurations and associated umbilical systems.

The awards span OneSubsea’s Subsea Production, Umbilical & Cable, and Processing Systems business lines, including the supply of multiphase meters.

“These awards are emblematic of what our partnership with Vår Energi makes possible,” said Mads HjelmelandChief Executive Officer of SLB OneSubsea. “Moving from feasibility to contract award in just a matter of months is only achievable through the close collaboration and mutual trust built within the partnership. We are proud to be continuing our work with Vår Energi across both projects to unlock greater value, accelerate development and implement innovative solutions to maximize recovery.”
