Bahrain’s Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY) recently held a ceremony to mark the official completion and delivery of two self-propelled bunker vessels to Bapco Refining, a subsidiary of Bapco Energies.
ASRY has handled the design, engineering and construction phases, while supervising the launching of the two vessels and their first entry into the water. This has been followed by outfitting, commissioning, technical testing, performance trials and training, leading to the vessels assuming full operational readiness. Both bunker vessels have now been delivered to Bapco Refining to support its local operations.
