The ALDO Group, the Canadian footwear and accessories retailer, has extended its contract with Bleckmann, a specialist in supply chain management for fashion and lifestyle brands. The contract has been in place since July 2016 and has now been extended by five years, until July 2031, due to the strong partnership and stable operations. The partnership has for years comprised the full range of services offered by Bleckmann: from transport to warehousing, customs and freight. Due to their international reach and complexity, Bleckmann and the ALDO Group have built a highly integrated partnership, with daily interaction between the two companies, ensuring short lines of communication and rapid coordination in day-to-day operations.
The partnership has been running smoothly and steadily for years, with a high level of mutual trust and a clear focus on working smarter and more efficiently. What characterises our partnership with the ALDO Group is the strong collaboration, with a clear focus on continuous improvement and cost savings
Bleckmann is primarily responsible for European logistics and warehousing, but also exports the ALDO Group’s products to Morocco, Egypt, Angola, Albania, Turkey and Cyprus, as well as the UK. European countries such as Poland, Germany, France and Portugal are also important markets. Around 3.2 million items leave the warehouse in Enschede every year.
