China International Marine Containers (CIMC) reported higher revenue and dry container sales in the first nine months of 2026, although net profit declined year-on-year.

According to the company’s Q3 2026 report, group revenue reached RMB47.9 billion (US$6.8 billion) in the third quarter, up 16.91% year-on-year. Net profit attributable to shareholders and other equity holders rose by 146.4% to RMB708.3 million (US$100 million). For the first nine months, revenue increased by 8.33% to RMB126.8 billion (US$18 billion), while net profit fell by 7.53% to RMB1.45 billion (US$206m).

During the first three quarters, dry container sales reached 2.055m TEU, up 14.05% from 1.802m TEU in the same period of 2025. Reefer container sales totalled 152,600 TEU, compared with 153,500 TEU a year earlier. CIMC attributed sustained demand for reefer containers to fruit transportation requirements in South America.

CIMC did not disclose the production volumes or revenue figures for its container manufacturing business, but said both increased year-on-year during the first nine months of 2026.
