Cordelia Cruises has started operating two ships simultaneously from separate Indian homeports, deploying Cordelia Sky from Mumbai and Cordelia Empress from Kochi. The expansion increases its sailing options across India’s western coast and neighbouring international destinations, following a Mumbai turnaround involving nearly 6,000 passenger embarkations and disembarkations on 23 October.
The Cordelia Cruises expansion marks the operator’s transition from a single-ship business to simultaneous services from Mumbai and Kochi, giving passengers a wider choice of departure points and voyage lengths.
Cordelia Sky began its inaugural guest sailing from Mumbai on 23 October 2026. On the same day, Cordelia Empress departed towards Kochi to begin its season from the southern homeport.
Mumbai port handled both vessels during the turnaround, with nearly 6,000 guests embarking and disembarking across the ships. That figure represents combined passenger movements during the operation, rather than the number travelling aboard one departure.
