Cordelia Cruises plans to bring India among the world’s leading five cruise markets by 2032, according to its President and CEO, Jurgen Bailom.

The company aims to grow its fleet and explore the possibilities of domestic cruise tourism. Cordelia has two vessels, Cordelia Sky and Cordelia Empress. At a press conference on Cordelia Sky near Mumbai, the CEO said that its latest addition, Cordelia Sun, plans to set sail sooner than expected.

Bailom said that Cordelia also planned to further expand its fleet, but did not mention specific numbers since it is now a listed company bound by market regulations.

The expansion increased Cordelia’s international and domestic network with weekend sailings and cruises to Goa, the Maldives, Lakshadweep, and Sri Lanka, the operator of Cordelia Cruises said.
