DHL Group upgrades 2026 outlook as Q3 EBIT hits €1.7bn
Driven by robust Express and Global Forwarding volumes, DHL Group raises its full-year guidance following a 16.2% jump in Q3 operating profit.
Global logistics provider DHL Group has reported a highly robust financial performance for the third quarter of 2026, characterised by substantial organic growth in both revenue and earnings across its core global operations. The Germany-based supply chain giant recorded a 12.6% year-over-year increase in group revenue, reaching €22.7 billion, up from the €20.1 billion recorded in the same period in 2025.
Operating profit (EBIT) experienced a correspondingly steep upward trajectory, rising 16.2% to €1.7 billion compared to €1.5 billion during the third quarter of the previous year. Consequently, the group’s EBIT margin witnessed a healthy improvement, climbing to 7.6% from 7.3% in 2025.
Riding on this positive earnings momentum and clear indicators of strong seasonal demand in the fourth quarter, DHL Group has confidently revised its full-year 2026 guidance upwards for the second time this year. The company now anticipates an operating profit exceeding €7.0 billion, a notable and optimistic upgrade from its previous forecast of more than €6.5 billion. Furthermore, EBIT for the core DHL divisions is now forecast at more than €6.4 billion, reflecting sustained confidence in the underlying operational strength of the organisation.
