Hines buys Milan logistics site and commits to Piedmont logistics park

Global real assets investment manager Hines has expanded its Italian logistics portfolio with the acquisition of a logistics complex near Milan and a conditional commitment to a forward purchase of a logistics park in Piedmont.

Hines acquired a 19,000m² logistics complex in San Giuliano Milanese, 8km from central Milan, on behalf of the Hines European Core Fund (HECF). The company said the off-market deal is the fund’s fourth logistics acquisition in Italy.

Separately, Hines has conditionally committed to the forward purchase of a 194,000m² logistics park in Pozzolo Formigaro, Piedmont, on behalf of Hines European Real Estate Partners III (HEREP III).
