IndiGo has extended the cancellation of flights to and from four Saudi Arabian cities until 14 November 2026, prolonging disruption for passengers travelling between India and the kingdom. The airline said services connecting Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah would remain suspended because of continuing airspace restrictions and security concerns in the region.

The extension comes as attacks on Saudi infrastructure have disrupted aviation operations and prompted carriers to revise schedules. Reuters reported that thousands of flights across Saudi Arabia were cancelled between 8 and 25 October, with Riyadh among the worst-affected airports.

The cancellations affect Indian workers, families and Umrah pilgrims, some of whom have faced difficulties arranging alternative journeys. IndiGo said it was contacting affected passengers and would provide updates as the situation develops.

Passengers booked on the affected routes should check their flight status through IndiGo’s official channels before travelling to the airport. The latest deadline does not guarantee services will resume on 15 November; further changes remain possible depending on security assessments and operational clearances.
