Kongsberg Maritime reported a record order backlog of NOK 29.75 billion in the third quarter of 2026, supported by strong demand for newbuild vessels across several shipping segments.

Revenue reached NOK 6.64 billion, representing a 5% increase from the third quarter of 2025. Meanwhile, deliveries to newbuild vessels grew by 16%, although aftermarket revenue declined by 5%.

Kongsberg Maritime reported EBITDA of NOK 1.04 billion, corresponding to a margin of 15.7%. The result included NOK 72 million in restructuring costs related to its ongoing competitiveness improvement programme.

Lisa Edvardsen Haugan, President and CEO of Kongsberg Maritime, said strong contracting activity across several vessel segments had contributed to the company’s growing order backlog.
