A TUI Cruises passenger vessel collided with two berthed containerships at the German port of Bremerhaven on 25 October, causing significant damage to one of the cargo vessels and prompting authorities to prohibit all three ships from departing.

The incident occurred at approximately 17:30 local time, when the cruise ship Mein Schiff 3 was leaving Bremerhaven for a scheduled voyage to the Canary Islands. According to Bremen Police, the vessel was being assisted by tugboats when a strong gust of wind pushed it towards two containerships moored along the Stromkaje quay.

One of the vessels involved has been identified in maritime industry reports as the 16,520 TEU MSC Victorine. The second containership was also struck during the incident.

In an updated statement issued on 26 October, Bremen Police confirmed that the larger containership sustained substantial structural damage, while the smaller vessel suffered minor damage.
