Samudera Shipping Line handled 503,000 TEU during the third quarter of 2026, unchanged from the corresponding period last year.

According to the company’s latest business update, average container shipping revenue increased to US$297 per TEU. This compares with US$252 per TEU in the third quarter of 2025.

Samudera said average freight rates were higher year on year. However, bunker and charter hire expenses remained elevated during the quarter.

Samudera’s bulk and tanker fleet comprised seven vessels during the quarter, down from eight vessels a year earlier. The fleet included three chemical tankers and four gas tankers.
