Singapore Airlines (SIA) has awarded Menzies Aviation the contract to deliver cargo, ramp and passenger services at Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI).
Menzies Aviation will support SIA’s daily passenger flights and ad hoc freighter operations at Sydney’s new 24-hour airport from the start of SIA’s operations, on 23th November 2026.
The contract award marks a significant milestone in Menzies’ expansion at WSI, where it has built a 12,500sqm cargo facility capable of handling up to 200,000 tonnes annually, making it the company’s largest cargo warehouse in Oceania and Southeast Asia.
Menzies and SIA already work together on freighter ramp handling operations in Sydney and Melbourne, while Menzies was also awarded Singapore Airlines’ ground handling contract in Brisbane and Cairns earlier this year.
