Talma, airport services company operating in Peru and Latin America and a member of the Grupo Sandoval, announced the sixth edition of its Latin American Seminar, a virtual event that will unite representatives from international organisations, aviation authorities, companies, and industry experts to analyze the main challenges, advances, and trends in the region’s airport industry.
The 6th Talma 2026 Latin American Seminar will serve as a forum for dialogue and the exchange of knowledge and experiences on strategic issues related to the development of aviation in Latin America. The agenda will include the outlook for the aviation industry in Peru, the regional economic environment for commercial aviation, operational safety, and airport law.
As far as operational safety is concerned, representatives from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the Airports Council International – Latin America & the Caribbean (ACI-LAC), and the Civil Air Navigation Services Organization (CANSO) will take part, sharing their perspectives on industry initiatives and challenges, including the Fénix project and runway safety. In addition, aspects of airport law such as open-skies agreements and aircraft contracts will be analyzed, with the participation of industry experts.
The program will also include a segment dedicated to the latest developments and new capabilities at Jorge Chávez International Airport, featuring presentations on Lima Airport’s digital platform, the surface radar system of the Peruvian Airports and Commercial Aviation Corporation (CORPAC), and progress on Talma’s fleet and infrastructure.
