Global companies have long run their backend operations from shared capability centres. AGOS Aviation is bringing that model to airlines, backed by four decades of hands-on operational experience.
Consider an airline preparing to add a new destination. The commercial case has been made, the aircraft allocated and the slots secured. Then a second list begins.
Who will produce the loadsheets? Who will clear customs at the new station, arrange catering, check the handler's invoices and verify the revenue? None of these questions appear on a route map. All of them have to be answered before the first departure.
For most airlines, the answer has been to build: hire the team, buy the systems, train the staff, then repeat the process at the next station.
