XPO turned wins among small- to medium-sized businesses and in the grocery segment of the less-than-truckload market into higher volumes and profits in the third quarter of 2026, executives said Oct. 29. Greenwich, Conn.-based XPO benefited from improved freight market conditions and customer service, the executives told analysts and investors during the company’s Q3 earnings call. The company’s shipments per day increased 5.8% year over year to 52,988 in Q3 from 50,094 a year earlier.
