China-North Korea passenger rail to resume after 6-year hiatus

DANDONG, China/BEIJING — China and North Korea are set to revive direct cross-border passenger rail service on Thursday, a Chinese source familiar with the situation said, a development that could help Pyongyang’s effort to acquire foreign currency.
