Chipmaker SK Hynix to double wafer capacity in 5 years to meet AI demand

TAIPEI — South Korean chipmaker SK Hynix, a key Nvidia supplier, will double its total wafer capacity in the next five years to serve the massive increase in AI demand, while maintaining its projection that the unprecedented memory chip supply crunch could last until 2030.
