Laos to create energy, logistics hub amid global conflict: PM

TOKYO — Laos is working with other Asian countries to become a regional hub for clean power production and transport logistics, even as the country tries to lessen the economic impact of the war in the Middle East, Laotian Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone said Thursday.
