Modi’s border state wins could reshape ties with Bangladesh, Nepal

NEW DELHI — Recent regional elections in Indian states bordering Bangladesh and Nepal give Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) a chance to inject new energy into ties with its neighbors, analysts say. Both countries appear eager to keep their relationship with New Delhi on an even keel.
