NAVVIK begins independent operations after separating from the Maersk group
Disclosure
NAVVIK officially began its independent operations in the Brazilian maritime support market following the completion of the separation process from Maersk Supply Service. The transaction involved the acquisition of the Brazilian operation by a consortium led by ASM Texas Corp and FV Star One Limited, marking a new stage for the company in the offshore sector.
With the change, NAVVIK begins to operate autonomously, maintaining a focus on providing support services to oil and gas exploration and production operations in Brazil. The company inherits the operational experience built over the years by Maersk Supply Service in the country and seeks to expand its presence in a market that continues to be heated with the growth of offshore activities.

The company’s fleet is made up of AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply) vessels, used in anchor handling, towing and platform support operations, as well as PSVs (Platform Supply Vessels), responsible for transporting cargo, supplies and equipment for maritime units.
Operational independence represents an important strategic move for NAVVIK, which intends to strengthen its operations in the Brazilian offshore segment, considered one of the most relevant in the world in deep and ultra-deep water exploration.
The new positioning also follows the positive outlook for the oil and gas sector in the country, driven by investments in new projects and increased demand for specialized maritime support vessels.
