NEW DELHI — India’s trade deal with Oman, operationalized this month, could offer an alternative and reliable energy gateway outside the Strait of Hormuz as freight movements along the waterway will likely take time to normalize, even as the U.S. and Iran released their interim ceasefire agreement on Wednesday.
