Sepetiba Tecon and Cosco sign a 10-year contract and expand operations on the Brazil–China axis

O Sepetiba Tecon ea Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers (South America) took a strategic step towards strengthening Brazilian foreign trade by formalizing the signing of a commercial contract valid for 10 years. The agreement expands cooperation between companies and reinforces operations in the axis Brazil–Chinaone of the most relevant routes for global logistics.

The partnership, which began with storage and movement operations for empty containers, has evolved significantly over the years. Today, joint action covers general cargo, project cargo, electric vehicles and full container transportexpanding the offer of logistics solutions to the market.
Furthermore, the new phase of cooperation already foresees the expansion to export of cellulose and grainsthrough the Brics Express Servicein loose cargo operations, reinforcing the terminal’s leading role in the flow of Brazilian commodities.
Currently, Sepetiba Tecon occupies a prominent position by being the only terminal in Brazil enabled by Cosco Shipping Specialized for shipments of export containers destined for China. The recognition strengthens its strategic relevance in the international logistics chain.

The contract provides for the possibility of renewal and extension, signaling a long-term commitment to expanding logistics between the two countries.
