TOKYO — Sony Group on Friday said it planned to deepen its partnership with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., aiming to develop next-generation image sensors for artificial intelligence applications that would allow it to expand into fast-growing sectors such as robotics and automotive.
