US senators seek to calm Asian nerves on Taiwan-Japan-South Korea tour

TOKYO — A bipartisan group of four U.S. senators voiced support for Asian allies while visiting Japan on Wednesday, part of a weeklong tour meant to reassure Northeast Asian partners grappling with side effects of the Iran war and concerns over China and North Korea.
