Major container feeder vessels firm Contships Logistics Corp., with a fleet portfolio of 27 vessels, has secured two new time charter deals with Marseille-based container shipping line CMA CGM and container liner giant Ocean Network Express (ONE).
The Nikolas D. Pateras-led company disclosed that the 2008-built Contship Sky had been renewed with CMA CGM at a daily rate of $16,250 for a period of 11 to 13 months.
A separate fixture covers the 2008-built Contship Way, which has been fixed with ONE at a daily rate of $16,500 for a period of 21 to 24 months.
Contships has been securing longer employment for its feeder fleet while reducing exposure to older vessels through disposals.
