Denzai Vietnam mobilised a 1,250-tonne capacity crawler crane to the VinFast – Trong Dong Stadium in Hanoi, where it will support the lifting and installation of a domed roof. Engaged by TCE Equipment and Service, Denzai deployed its SCC12500A crawler equipped with a 102 m-long luffing jib. The crane will run at the site between October 2026 and June 2027.
The stadium forms part of Vingroup’s Hung Vuong International Sports Complex in southern Hanoi. Designed to accommodate 135,000 spectators, the venue measures 408 m in diameter and will feature a steel dome roof incorporating an automatically opening and closing section.
“Lifting the dome roof calls for precision at height and an uncompromising focus on safety,” said Ta Van Thu, site operation team leader at Denzai Vietnam.
Construction of the stadium began in December 2025, with developer Vingroup targeting completion in July 2027. Its design draws inspiration from the Dong Son bronze drum, a symbol of Vietnamese heritage.
