FedEx has completed the modernization of its second airside facility at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, increasing operational capacity and streamlining customs procedures.
The refurbished facility complements FedEx’s existing installation at the airport. Together, they bring the company’s total airside operational footprint in Madrid to more than 4,500m2. FedEx said the expansion strengthens the capacity of its European network to respond to demand during the peak shipping season.
The modernization adds 1,550m2 of airside operational warehouse space and 913m2 of technical and administrative offices.
