IndiGo has extended flight cancellations to and from four Saudi Arabian cities, prolonging disruption to air connectivity between India and the kingdom amid heightened security concerns. Flights serving Riyadh will remain cancelled until 31 October 2026, while services to and from Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah will remain suspended until 27 October, the airline said in a travel advisory issued on Friday.

The extensions come amid a volatile security situation following attacks on Saudi airport infrastructure. The latest reporting on the incident at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam said two people were killed, including an Indian national, and eight others were injured. IndiGo said it was monitoring developments and coordinating with relevant authorities to assess the situation. <Cite refs={[“turn714428news5″,”turn714428news6”]}/>

The latest announcement means passengers on affected routes face further uncertainty over travel dates, connections and onward journeys as airlines continue to review operations.

IndiGo has set separate suspension deadlines for its Saudi network. Flights to and from Riyadh are cancelled through 31 October, inclusive, while services connecting Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah remain suspended through 27 October, inclusive.
