OOCL has announced the launch of its new China Indonesia Service (CIS4), strengthening container shipping connections between China and Indonesia.

The service is scheduled to begin on 22 November 2026. It will provide direct connections between key ports in northern and southern China and two major Indonesian gateways.

According to OOCL, CIS4 aims to improve connectivity, flexibility and service reliability for cargo moving between the two countries.

The rotation includes three Chinese ports, two Indonesian ports and Singapore. It will connect Qingdao, Shanghai and Nansha directly with Jakarta and Surabaya.
