Violi joins WireCo

Damiano Violi has joined USA-based wire and synthetic rope specialist WireCo as chief operating officer, Europe and rest of world (ROW).

Violi previously worked for the likes of Yanmar Compact Equipment and Honeywell Aerospace. Most recently, he served as head of firefighting vehicle platform at Germany-headquartered Magirus.

At WireCo, he will oversee the company’s regional supply chain, focusing on improving service and cost efficiency. He reports directly to Keith White, the company’s ceo.

“Damiano understands the practical demands of running complex industrial businesses,” said White. “He brings experience translating operational priorities into improvements on the manufacturing floor, supported by a strong engineering background. That experience will be valuable as we help our teams improve performance across Europe and ROW and strengthen our ability to serve customers.”
