Federal Revenue authorizes new bonded area at TVV and expands logistics capacity in ES

Disclosure

The Federal Revenue authorized the customs of the new “Penedo” retro area, linked to the Vila Velha Terminal (TVV), in Espírito Santo. The release had been awaited since the beginning of the year by Log-In Logística Intermodal, responsible for operating the terminal, and represents an important step forward in expanding operational capacity.

The new area arrives at a strategic time. TVV has been recording high occupancy levels, driven by increased cargo movement and growing logistics demand in the Southeast region. With customs, the back area will be able to officially operate in support of port activities, contributing to greater efficiency in the storage and flow of goods.

In practice, the measure should alleviate operational bottlenecks, allowing better distribution of cargo and greater agility in customs processes. The expectation is that the new structure will also strengthen the competitiveness of the Espírito Santo terminal, expanding its capacity to serve importers and exporters.

For Log-In, the authorization represents not only an operational reinforcement, but also a relevant step in the growth and consolidation strategy of TVV as one of the main port terminals in Espírito Santo.

The advance occurs in a scenario of expansion in the Brazilian port sector, which has been seeking solutions to deal with the increase in cargo volume and the need for greater logistical efficiency, especially in regions with strong industrial and commercial operations.
