ZPE Ceará has a new president after the appointment of Fábio Feijó as state secretary

A Administrative Company of the Ceará Export Processing Zone (ZPE Ceará) made official, this Friday (24), the inauguration of the lawyer Rafael Sa as the new president of the institution. The ceremony was held at the company’s administrative headquarters, in São Gonçalo do Amarantea strategic municipality for the industrial and port development of the state.

Sá assumes the position replacing Fábio Feijówho had been heading the ZPE since June 2024 and was appointed to the post of Secretary of Economic Development of Cearáin a move that reinforces the articulation between the management of the export zone and state economic policy.
With a consolidated trajectory in the legal sector, Rafael Sá has postgraduate degree in Labor Law and Process and has been practicing law since 2006. Throughout his career, he has accumulated experience in legal advice for large and multinational companiesoperating in different segments of the economy.
In the public sector, the new president also has administrative experience. Among the functions already performed, the following stand out: Secretary of Planning and Secretary of Administration of the municipality of Aquiraz. Since 2021, he has been part of the Board of Directors of the Regulatory Agency of the State of Ceará (Arce)reinforcing its performance in topics linked to public management and regulation.
In 2023, Rafael Sá received the Boticário Ferreira Medalan honor granted by the Fortaleza City Council in recognition of the services provided to the public sector.
The arrival of the new president occurs at a strategic moment for ZPE Ceará, considered one of the main centers for attracting industrial investments, exports and job creation in the state, especially due to its connection with the Pecém Industrial and Port Complex.
The market’s expectation is that the new management will maintain the pace of expansion and strengthening of operations focused on foreign trade, increasing Ceará’s competitiveness in the national and international logistics scenario.
