A Azul achieved in March 2026 the best result in its history in the charter segment for the period. In total, the company carried out 285 dedicated flights in the month, a number that represents growth of 170% compared to March last year.
The performance practically tripled the volume of the company’s charter operations and reinforces the increase in demand for personalized flights in both tourism and the corporate market.

According to the company, the result was mainly driven by the increase in international travel during the Holy Week holiday. Among the highlights were nine charter operations departing from Montevideo, Uruguay, heading to Brazilian cities such as Recife, Maceió, Porto Seguro, Cabo Frio and Florianópolis.
In addition to tourism, the corporate sector also showed a strong participation in the growth of dedicated operations. The company recorded an increase in the booking of flights for business events, conventions and executive trips.
Among the highlighted operations was air logistics for a major event held in Comandatuba, as well as international charters to destinations such as Bolivia and the Dominican Republic.
According to Azul, 82% of operations carried out in March were concentrated in the domestic market, while international flights accounted for 18% of the total.
Ricardo Bezerra, General Commercial Manager at Azul (Disclosure/Azul)
For Ricardo Bezerra, the growth demonstrates the consolidation of charters as a strategic alternative for corporate clients and tourism operators.
“We have seen an increasingly structured demand for dedicated operations, with customers seeking flexibility, efficiency and customization,” said the executive.
The advance follows a trend observed in the airline sector, in which companies and tourism operators began to seek more personalized solutions, mainly for large events, specific seasons and dedicated international operations.
The company’s expectation is to maintain the pace of growth throughout 2026, expanding the presence of the charter segment within the company’s operational strategy.
