According to the president of Cecafé, Márcio Ferreirathe increase in exports in number of bags was driven by the entry into the market of coffees from the new harvest, mainly canephoras, added to the remaining stocks from the previous harvest.
The drop in revenue was attributed to fluctuations in international coffee prices on the global market.
In the accumulated ten months of the 2025/26 harvest year, between July 2025 and April 2026, Brazil exported 32.247 million bags, a volume 19.4% lower than that recorded in the same period of the previous cycle.
