Édson Dalto reinforces the role of BNDES in modernizing national infrastructure
SANTOS (SP) – During ENIP 2026, Édson Dalto presented BNDES’s vision on the challenges of financing Brazilian infrastructure.
According to him, the bank continues to play a fundamental role in structuring and providing financial support for projects considered strategic for national development.

Dalto highlighted that logistics modernization is one of the priorities to increase Brazil’s competitiveness and reduce operational costs that directly impact national production.
In addition to traditional lines of credit, the executive highlighted the importance of new financial instruments aimed at sustainability, technological innovation and energy transition.
Projects related to the decarbonization of transport, energy efficiency and resilient infrastructure have gained increasing space in the investment portfolio.
The BNDES representative also highlighted the institution’s role in structuring concessions and public-private partnerships, helping to attract private investments and expand project execution capacity.
For Dalto, the development of national logistics will depend on the combination of adequate financing, strategic planning and institutional security.
